Los Angeles Professional Organizer Position

Operation Organization has more than 20 years of experience in the professional organizing industry. We are looking for the next Professional Organizer to join the team, and it could be you!


Are you passionate about living an organized life and helping others do the same? Do you have high executive functioning skills and are considered an excellent prioritizer? Are you more organized than your friends? Does the thought of getting paid to organize and declutter seem like a dream come true? Do you believe all matching hangers are worth the investment? Do you notice when cords are messy and not wrangled? Do you naturally put things away as you go about your day? Do you keep your home clean and organized throughout the week rather than catching up on the weekends? If this feels true for you, then keep reading...


The best fit for our team is positive and has an excellent attitude. You are able to work on your feet with energy for up to 8 hours at a time while staying professional and upbeat. You are extremely trustworthy, punctual, and dependable. You conduct your life with a high level of personal and professional integrity. You do the right thing, even when nobody is watching. You are skilled at making spaces look elevated and beautiful, while also keeping household functionality in mind.


You can communicate effectively with kindness to both co-workers and customers. You are confident and can problem-solve on your own, as well as prioritize under pressure. People would describe you as warm, resourceful, hardworking, and someone who finishes what they start. You can lift 50 pounds, climb stairs, use a ladder, and have mental and physical stamina.


You are not looking to just work in beautiful homes, but can add ideas and elevated style to optimize high-end living when needed. This job will include working in spaces such as garages, storage units, cluttered houses, as well as large homes that want to take organized living to the next level. You are not afraid of cobwebs, spiders, or other insects that could be in client garages. However, you possess an elevated sense of style and feel comfortable working in luxury homes. You don't get frustrated easily by people, situations, or changes in plans.


Applicant Requirements

  • Highly personally organized
  • Ability to prioritize under pressure
  • Desire to be a part of a company and work in a team on projects
  • Does not have their own organizing company
  • Does not work for another organizing company
  • Available at least 9am-5pm, 3 weekdays per week
  • Can work at least one Saturday per month when needed
  • Can attend monthly virtual team meetings, Mondays at 5pm
  • Has a presentable car for container pick-ups and donation drop-offs
  • No allergies to pets, dust, or fragrance
  • Stamina for client shopping and admin duties after organizing sessions
  • iPhone and Mac user
  • Tech-savvy and able to use scheduling apps
  • Quick responder to company communication
  • Comfortable with being featured on the company website, marketing emails, and social media accounts
  • Must live in LA County and be able to work on client projects from the South Bay to Calabasas


Hourly compensation based on experience. This is a part-time employee position, not an independent contractor opportunity.
