Space Designer & Product Specialist

Job Description

Space Designer & Product Specialist
Operation Organization | Dallas, TX
In-Person | 25 to 30 hours/week | Monthly Travel

About the Role

Operation Organization is looking for a Space Designer & Product Specialist to work closely with our Founder & CEO, clients, and organizing team. This is a high-level support role for someone who loves both the creative side of a project (space planning & design) and execution (the behind-the-scenes details) that make every job run smoothly.

You'll turn client needs into thoughtful zone plans and product layouts for garages, kitchens, closets, storage rooms, playrooms, and home offices, making sure the Team has what they need to organize within budget and stay on schedule.

What You'll Do

Space Planning & Design

  • Attend in-person client consultations with the CEO, capturing precise measurements, detailed notes, and clear next steps
  • Develop thoughtful space and zone plans and draft product layouts for each project
  • Build container mood boards, room design presentations, and team shopping guides in Canva
  • Source everyday and one-of-a-kind storage solutions, for active client projects

CEO & Client Support

  • Daily correspondence with team members, the Director of Operations, and clients
  • Keep a well-managed task list and ask the right questions to stay one step ahead of company and client workflow
  • Complete client deliverables with a quick turnaround after meetings and requests

Operations & Inventory

  • Keep our in-home container stockroom stocked with frequently used bins, drawer organizers, and supplies
  • Pull product for upcoming jobs and deliver to team members in the field
  • Pre-stage product at job sites ahead of time with Lead Organizers on whole home projects
  • Track container inventory checked out to jobs and returned after completion in our company spreadsheets, so clients are billed accurately

What You Bring

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience juggling multiple priorities, timelines, and project details
  • Confidence in client meetings, site visits, and collaborative project discussions
  • Expert-level Canva skills and genuine comfort building and working in Excel
  • Fluency across the Apple ecosystem, including iPhone, Mac, and their apps
  • Fast, accurate typing and writing skills
  • An eye for style, design, and home decor, with the ability to translate it into polished client-facing visuals

How You Work

  • Proactive, self-directed, and detail-obsessed, with ability to be flexible when plans change
  • Independent, with consistent communication and accountability
  • Coachable and collaborative, welcoming feedback as a way to grow
  • Excited to help shape evolving systems, workflows, and processes, and to bring new ideas to the table
  • Professional and discreet in clients' homes, with a firm commitment to confidentiality, while staying warm and approachable

The Practical Stuff

  • A clean, reliable car (an SUV is a plus)
  • Ability to travel for business monthly
  • A love of dogs. Our foster dog is part of the team and in the office every day.
  • Comfort working in client homes with cats and dogs
  • Ability to work around dust and in hot or cold conditions on site, including garages, attics, and storage spaces
  • Comfort working around home fragrances such as candles, diffusers, and air fresheners

Most Importantly

Honesty, loyalty, and integrity aren't buzzwords here. They're the baseline. We're looking for someone who does the right thing even when nobody is looking, lifts the energy in a room, and leads with kindness and a positive presence.

Our team is close-knit, and we like it that way. We're looking for an experienced professional who knows they love support work and wants to grow with us for the long term.
